It's a Monster of a Birthday!

I've created a little project today to show you how easy it is to be creative with dies EVEN if they weren't meant to be used the way I have today!  The Jubilee Magic Slider Card product is available in store, and I've used one of it's banner dies to create this Spinning Slider Card.  Oh, and by the way, The Monster Mash stamp set made for a FANTASTIC little rolling monster!  The set comes with these ADORABLE little strings that are PERFECT for background accents on such a fun project too!

Hope you give it a try yourself and mix and match any of the LDRS Creative products to come up with new ways to use them, They're so versatile!

Smile, You are a vision to behold

I've found my foil, sequins and TLC Expression dies for today's projects.  You will find the YouTube video tutorial at the  channel but if you like to learn by step out tutorials, I've included a quick step by step instruction list to help you through the process.

You've got to give this foil a try!  It adds the perfect little glimmer and shine to the simplest project!

Just LOOK at that foiled background!  Mod Swirls!  It's super shiny, intricate and simply marvelous on this card with just the TLC Expressions "smile" die and some embossing to finish it off!

Step 1.  I use some Reactive Paint by daubing it onto the stamp very lightly with a sponge

Step 2.  Stamp onto card stock and allow it to dry thoroughly (be sure to wash stamp off immediately)

Step 3.  With a very hot lamination machine, place a shim paper down first in the lamination folder, then the stamped card stock (dried reactive paint up then the transfer foil with shine side up.

Step 4.  Run it through the laminator

Step 5.  Emboss your sentiment onto some vellum or clear acetate and adhere it to card.

Step 6.  Cut the TLC Expressions die and adhere it to the vellum and decorate with some embellishments!

That's as Quick and Crafty as it gets!  The background is a visual pleasure and the die just puts a smile on your face!  The two products work really well together and each hold their own on a project!   Another mention of the sentiment that was embossed onto the Vellum was one of the Bits and Bobs stamps from the Growing Garden set in the store under the TLC Inspired collection.

I hope you try this technique, you're going to LOVE the results!   Until next time,
Tammy Louise

Cherish your time with others

I'm here with my lovely followers to show you just how simple it is to create with the collection of Gorjuss mini stamps you can get from 7 Kids College Fund store for less than $3.00!!!  So she is called "Puddle of Love"  isn't she darling?

Outside of scoring an A2 size of Cryogen Copic paper, stamping the image with my Mini Misti and going around the outside of the edge with a cute little stamp from the Key to Love clear stamp collection from the Whimsy section of the store, all I did was color her!

Clean and Simple!  Sometimes it's about making it the way you see it, that doesn't always need flowers, ribbons and bows for me!  I could make 10 of these in a day and use them for any occasion!  Maybe I will??  lol

Copic Ink: E13,21,00,000,R20 and R30
BV 20,21,25 and R81,83,85.
I think I used E21,25 and 27 for the hair

Be a kind person that embraces someone going through a tough time.  If you see someone who could use some cheering up, stop, chat and try to bring a smile to their face.

You Tube tutorial with Lock-Itz and TLC Inspired Crafting

I haven't been able to get crafty in a while, so today's special treat for my blog is the terrific and easy to use Lock-Itz dies!
Have you seen the Newest die trend?  I've not seen anything like these dies!   They allow you to cut 1/2 of the design on each end of any size paper and then score them wherever you like (although there are directions on back for a standard A2 size card).
I've created one with the Cupcake Tower Die today and I snapped some shots while I cut and assembled it to show you just how quick and easy it can be!  Enjoy these dies!  They're super easy to use and a great deal of fun to design with!
Step 1.  For A2 size use a paper that measures 12"w x 5.5"h and place dies cut side down on the side you want to show on the front at 1.75" inward from both ends with the design facing outward to the edge of the paper like above.
Step 2.  Run the die through your favorite die machine and it will cut the design out like above.
Step 3.  Did I mention how beautifully these dies cut?  Woo Hoo!  Almost done.
Step 4.  In order to make the cut design POP, cut a few pieces of your favorite DP. Here I used a pretty sheet from the Splendid Azure 6 x 6 pad from the TLC Inspired Crafting line.

Step 5.  Turn the card over and meet the edges of the paper in the center (or off to either side) and push the paper down and score where the fold occurs on each side of the card.  Once you've scored the edges, just pull upward on one side and slide the design together with the other side.  It will look like the above.
Step 6.  I cut the design again and cut ONLY the cupcake out of the Splendid Azure design paper and glued it onto the base design.  I added two strips of the Washi Tape you can find to match the paper in the store and then some glitter!  That's it!  It's a really quick and simple project!
Hope you catch and enjoy the video,  Join the channel so you never miss the next inspiration from the team and/or any of the Quick and Crafty tutorial series!

TLC Expression Dies showing the LOVE

WOW!  The Soft Blush Papers from the TLC Inspired Stamping and Crafting line work beautifully with the TLC Expression Dies!  Let me show you!  I've crafted four beautiful little CAS cards in less than 1/2 hour!  Using all four of the different word dies, perfectly coordinated paper pack, an embossing folder call Gilded Ovals and the Stitched Oval die from the line of Creative Basics!  That's it!

Did you notice the bundle?  I've decided to put the cards together with some tulle and tied them in a bow to create a pretty little set!  I think it's going to find it's way into the Ladies craft Bazaar!  Maybe i'll make a dozen of them and see what happens??  It couldn't be easier!
