Love You MOM!

It's so close to Mother's Day!  I've sent a special gift to mom all the way to Florida and I know she follows my blog so there will be no sharing the surprise here!  Sorry!

The Sugar and Betty Dt with That Crafty Place is having a get together today at the Passionate Paper FB page and I've colored up Sugar I love you to join them.

I've had the 12 x 12 Botanical Tea paper collection by Graphics 45 for years and just noticed that there are some gorgeous post card sized tags in the collection that work perfectly behind any image.  Sugar is popped up in from of a lush rose and then a little postage stamp in the corner and a Mother's Day Greeting at the bottom and it's done!  Super simple project but with a bit of distress and Gesso, it turned into a victorian looking gift for mom!   Don't forget your mom, you've got 2 more days!

LOVE YOU MOM!

My Dear Friend Forever

Happy Saturday!
Michigan has been warming up nicely and the flowers are blooming!  Almost makes you want to sit outside with your favorite book and read a bit doesn't it?  Well no reading for this busy mom, today the niece and nephew twins are getting their first communion and my daughter and I will be deciding on a wedding shower hall afterwards!  Busy Busy!

But, there's always time for cute little Lisbeth!  This adorable long haired image is called Book Worm .

She is drawing her favorite flowers and reading all about how they grow in this image with the dangling girly bedroom lights all around her.  The cheeks on these images are my favorite part!  They pop out like little rays of sunshine and glow on her adorable face.  I've popped her up on top of the Darling View die which have clear velum on the back so the pearls could be placed on the view yet you can still see through them.  Tied a bit of braiding cord on the die circles, then added my favorite LDRS sentiment stamps off to the side for a bookmark like effect.

I cut a few of the flower vines from the Darling View Die set and gemmed them up and it was all the project needed.  Enjoy!

 INGREDIENTS:

Lisbeth Bookworm Image
Tag Alongs Sentiment
Bo Bunny Country Garden DP
Studio G card stock

 MEDIUMS:
Copics: E04,13,11,r32,r30

Girls Rule

Good Morning!  I'm sharing the beautiful Saturated Canary Stamp today named Gothica!  She's spicy and dreamy at the same time!  She also it the epitome of what a girl is!  Sweet, innocent, dreamy eyed and spicy at the same time!

If you'd like to win this beautiful stamp, please leave a message on my blog here and I'll draw a winner on April 20th!

I gathered some school like numbered DP from My Minds Eye along with some of my favorite dies to enhance Gothica today.  The Darling Square Die set center die, the flowers and the vines were double layered and crystals were added to sparke this project up.  I've also used the sentiment circle from the same set and then I used the Dewdrop Border to add some dimension on the side of the card.  It's full of dew drops and spots that add a ton of texture and then I embossed the Lovely View Die too in order to add some texture to the other side of the card.

INGREDIENTS:
My Minds Eye DP the Dancer
Recollections Aqua Screen DP

A real pleasure to color and sparkle up!  Gothica was perfect to use with the sentiment Girls Rule!  She's ruling the day for certain.
