It's Tuesday here in Michigan and it's warming up to be a very pleasant spring! As a matter of fact, we've taken the plastic off the windows and opened the screens a few time! Un heard of around here! teehee
I'm flying out to Florida tonight for my daughter first of two bridal showers. Her fiance's family is from Florida so they are having one down there for them and the other here in Michigan later in the summer for us Northerners! lol
This image is so full of life and spirit, I thought she would be perfect for the shower card for my daughter! Her name is Jessie's Summer Garden and she is one of my favorites from the Candi Bean line from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps!
Simple but elegant card today, I've used a bright and cheerful Washi tape from Recollections and cut out the Darling View die as well as stamping on some again for her cute little summer dress! Also, I put some of the Washi tape down and cut some of the individual flowers to layer together and add some dimension to the card! I found a set of Fine Art Pastel pencils by Cretacolor at a hobby shop that was closing down last summer and today I decided to see how they would work! With a stumping pencil and two tones for each object, they worked out beautifully! I may have to switch my choice of mediums for a while! lol
