She's quite the GEM!

It's the last Tuesday of April and I'm so very desperate for Spring!  Last Thursday's FB live I shared some time with all of you water coloring.  It was so much fun for me to get back to that type of media I've decided to give it a go again this Thursday Night at 8PM EST and hope you can all join in! 

I am an Illustrator DT member of the 7Kidscrafts.com store and my good friend Kelly Neis is the owner.  Kelly has just manufactured her first 7 Kids polymer stamps and I've fallen pretty hard for them!  lol 

Here is the set I used in today's project!  It's called Kitten Gems and I fell in love with the one named Diamond!  I've always had an endearment for Marilyn Monroe and this Aristocratic Kitty reminded me of her so much I just had to color her! 

I'm telling you!  Those green eyes are to die for!  These illustrations have got such a sweet sketchy like feel to them!  They are just so sassy!  I know Kelly has wanted to manufacture stamps in 7Kids for a long time and I adore the images she has chosen!  

I've designed a simple but fun project with a special twist I picked up from my good friend Kassi Hulet.  The popped up topper is actually one piece of watercolor paper with a trimmed out center section.  There was an addition of the wobble on top of the original project because I just felt it needed to be interactive!  You know me!  I love to have fun and bring JOY to a project! lol

My Pegasus can fly! Why?

I hope all of my friends and family are having a great weekend!

This is what makes the magic!  The Double Dial Die 1!  This sample project shows Zanor the king of the Pegasus leaping through the forest over the lake to meet his queen Sirlus on the most majestic of snowy nights! 

Priced right, fun and easy to use!

For today's project I used the cute frame that comes with the Double Dial Die and double cut it for sturdiness.  Then I cut two dials and four arms.  The more sound your foundation and parts, the better this interactive mechanism will work. 

 I used my Gel press with the Colorbox and brusho inks first and let dry.  I went around the edges of the frame with coordinating ink and sponge and began my stamping.  The background was designed with the bridge first which I colored in just a bit with some brown Colorbox.  I tore some printer paper and used it to ink the mountains in the background then stamped some trees above where the Pegasus's were flying.  The yellow was brought into the center with Colorbox ink and a round sponge to simulate the reflection of the moon in the water.

The background brings this project to life with mushrooms in the foreground on the bottom and some vines hanging from the top.  Most of the trees and mountains and mushrooms were brushed over with the gel pen to give it that winter feel and the project was decorated.

To complete the project, I stamped the two illustrations on Kraft paper and embellished them with gel pen glitter and fussy cut them.  Then I assembled the mechanism and adhered the illustrations!  Raising the topper onto a card base completed the project!

Bride and Groom

Happy Wedding Season!   I'm coloring a whimsical little stamp illustrated by Crissy Armstrong in the Whimsy section of the 7kids College Fund store.  

I've fallen hard for the elegant and delightful card look of velum with silver Stazon ink.  The paper on the lower edge of the card gives it plenty of stability.  I cut three on an angle to go inside and outside of the front and back of the card.  The image was cut on an angle to give it some dimension and some sequins were added for the glitter effect.  Perfect for a summer wedding gift card!

Welcome Little One

Hello crafty friends!  It's me Tammy Louise coloring a Whimsy image from the 7 kids college fund store.  I've also used loads of the dies available in the LDRS Creative section as well.  His name is "From Prince" and he was simply a must have!  He turned out perfect for another baby card for my consignment shop! 

I used my Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils on him first, then some dollar store paints with sparkle in them for the over coat on the flower.  Some Gelly roll Sakura white pen, a bit of liquid pearls and a bit of braiding cord and flowers and it's done.  

The paper is from the wonderful Kingdom Green & Gold papers from the Treasured Times collection made by Michele RDesign papers.

My TLC decor with 7 Kids

Hello crafty friends!  It's me Tammy Louise coloring one of my FAV images now available from the 7 Kids College Fund Store in the LDRS Creative Section from All Dressed Up.  Her name is "A Girl Can't Have Too Many" and she was the perfectly thin and tall image to color for a project I've been trying to complete to decorate my crafty area with for almost a year now!

I coated the letter in some great Washi tape and hot glued some coordinating flowers to the bottom of the L.  Then I Copic colored her in coordinating colors and Washi taped her hat.  Glued her on and the project was complete!  Decorate your area with your dream colors!

Smile to My Face

 Good Day!  I playing with illustrations from an artist I've never colored before today here at the  7 Kids College Fund Store Blog.   Happy Tuesday!!!!
