Another Top Tip Tuesday Challenge

My 450 followers candy is here

I'm sharing a link to a very good cause with all of you today.  LaJanette, by Top Tip Tuesday friend and colleugue had a relative named Susan who is battling a very vicious sort of breast cancer.  This isn't something I ordinarily do, but I've felt moved by the plea and I know that I would love to receive greetings if I were as ill as Susan.  Also, because one of my dearest friends LaJanette has been such a wonderful inspiration and a terrific follower and a treasure to work with, I feel it is the least I could do.  Susan is in a difficult battle with cancer and could use some cheer so if your drawn to help, this is the link I was asked to forward you to.

On to my project for the day:

Challenges entered:
Inky Impressions - Lace and Trim
Waste Not Wednesday - use your forgotten stuff

I used, for the first time, an image from the sponsor Nicecrane called the "Beautiful Ladies".  I've altered a journal that I've had years now.  I've given it an antique look with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and pearls along with an intricate beautiful butterfly to add the garden feel to the book.  These pre colored images are Vintage, elegant and extremely easy to embellish!

INGREDIENTS:
Image is Beautiful Ladies from Nicecrane
Sentiment is handstamped with Micro letters
Notables 2 Shapeology Die w/Whimsy Stamps
Butterfly die is by Marianne Creatables
Double Scallop Shapeology Die w/Whimsy
Shapeology Die "Vines" w/Whimsy
Magnolia vine die
Design Paper is My Minds Eye

 MEDIUMS:
Vintage Photo and Victorian Ranger Distress Ink

 EMBELLISHMENTS:
The Paper Studios Pearl sticker
WOC lace butterfly
Pearl strand from stash

The little pink flowers were a gift from my friend Iris at Whimsy!  Thanks hun!
Organza ribbon is by Offray

Tip:  I allowed a 1/8" excess Design paper to be score taped into the inside edge of the book for a seamless and finished look to the face of the book.

INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
As I look forward, I'm very optimistic about the things I see ahead.
