Whimsy is reviewing the August stamp, paper, digi's and Shape EZ release today and I've decided to show you all this adorable little muslin bag that I've decided could make a perfect gift package/storage bag for any piece of beautiful jewelry for that special friend or someone special.
I've never decorated a bag like this so I was a bit nervous! I spent some time contemplating how to emphasize stamps and the bag at the same time? I discovered that the color of the bag was limiting my imagination so I quickly changed it to this beautiful rich burgundy with a touch or gold and green too! Now I had the basis of a beautiful design and my crafty side took over. Hope you enjoy it and I have to say, it was really quick and simple and loads of fun! I hope it inspires you to change the base of a project if you have trouble designing with it the way it comes to you!
I died the muslin first, stamped the X's and O's from Raindrop Echo w/Whimsy, colored in some of the letters and started the pull string embellishment. The bead dangle ribbon was added first, the flowers were altered and added with the feather. I added the dangle beads and tag to add some elegance and voula' the project was spritzed with some Pearl Angel Glimmer spritzer and it's done!
In my defense, I did try to edit the photo's in photobucket and unfortunately the editing brought down the pixels so bad that I've reloaded my originals so excuse my photo's and I hope you admire the project anyway!
