 Now, let's get to it!  I've made a parasol card that is chuck full of ribbon and lace this month!  With 14 different styles to choose from, it's hard to resist!  Below is a photo of the prep work required before layering them onto the umbrella!  Loads of pins for sure, but the new machine cut right through the work and the ribbons stood up to the task beautifully!  Sewing one stitch straight down the center allowed me to lift up the edges of the ribbons giving the umbrella that true ruffled feel!  So much fun!  I hope you give it a try, the look is amazing!

After the ribbons and lace were stripped onto the parasol and fluffed, I used some Stickles on the edges of the cuts from the template, popped them up on top of the ribbon for a authentic layered effect, tied a bow on top and added pearls and gems!
