On to my project for today!
I've created a little winter scene of my own and I wanted to show you a bit of how it was done.
I then took the same image and stamped just the bottom portion of the penguins feet and belly area onto some Fran's Sticky panels and fussy cut the penguins out.
Then I matched up the cut sticky panel to the image on the water color paper and cut it off at the bottom to the size of the card. The last thing to do is take the backing off on one side and place the sticky sheet where it belonged and apply the glitter. I rubbed the excess glitter around to assure coverage and that was it! The penguins are now on a snowy hill glittering in the light. With the sun coming up behind them and snow falling in the background.
INGREDIENTS:
New "Penguins Joy" by Crissy Armstrong
Water color paper
Fran's Sticky Panels
Better view of the glitter and snow falling from the side |
MEDIUMS:
Stampin Up Water Color Pencils
Copics to color shading under the penguins over the glitter
EMBELLISHMENTS:
Stickles Yellow and Star Dust, and Orange Peel
Frantage Stampendous Crystal Micro glitter
Lilac thread from The Twinery
