Sitting Pretty

Good day friends,

I've soundly landed back in my hometown of Michigan where it's cold, snowy and EVERYONE is sick with one thing or another!  I too have not been lucky enough to avoid the flue strain of 2015, but that didn't keep me from sharing this cutie patooti Candi Bean image that will be officially available on the 31st of January!

Sitting Pretty is her name and how elegant is she?  That cute little off the shoulder dress propped up against the cut little flower pot full of flowers!  And her freckles!!!  . . .  to die for, don't you think?

In this project, I was sure to use my newest die design just released at CHA, called Tear drop circle and the Tear Drop Border too!  I took advantage of the holes in the border die cut and ran some ribbon through for the added texture and placed those bright cheery flowers all over the die that I kept in the die, distressed with ink then applied glossy accents to!  The project came together just the way I had hoped!  I hope you get a chance to play with this die as it has soooo much texture and design, the possibilities are endless!
