Candy Winner and Top Tip Tuesday half way Sparkle Challenge

**********************Whimsy Stamps Sale here*******************

My Candy winner is at the bottom :)
Mid Week Top Tip Tuesday Challenge

Yikes!!  I'ts Tuesday again and this is the half way mark for the last Top Tip Tuesday Challenge.  I needed to hold off till the half way mark because last week was a very busy one!  I've colored a lot of images from several different companies and artists (and I have several favorites).  However, because I design with Top Tip Tuesday, I get to use graphics from Stamp Fairy and they are one of my favorites!

In today's project, the little girl is wading in the water so I added some muddy coloring to the ankle area and dotted on some sand for the background.  Instead of the air brushing copics I whittled in from the edges which I think gave the sunny day look.  The MiC chippy was coated in glitter paint and then you can't forget the little take away gift, and this sunglasses charm was just the ticket for this sunny day card "Just Because".  Enjoy!

Our Current Challenge is:
" Sparkles Galore"

You have another whole week to get in on the prizes too!

On a Daffy March!

The end of October nearly!  My girl turned 20 and the boy is 15 this year!  Ugh!  Did I jut admit that?  Happy Birthday to both of them and today's card resembles the occasion.

Like I've said for the better part of October, I couldn't wait to get back into the mojo of making several cards a week with every theme possible.  The process keeps my creative juices flowing and without it I struggle so much more!

Today I'm getting back into the challenge swing with Sentimental Sundays.  We have a fabulous sponsor this week at Heart Song Designs and we want you to take and make something inspiring from your birth flower!  Did you know you had a birth flower?  Well, my birthday is in March and it turns out the Daffodil is for me.  So I've taken some inspiration that I first found in a tutorial on ScrapBitz blog.  I don't color flowers often and I wanted to give it a go.  With the Copic alone I couldn't seem to get the shading I wanted but then I added some Distress ink and liked the outcome much more.
There are always some free sentiments offered at Sentimental Sundays challenge sight and this week is Janne's choice so I hope you enjoy them and play this week with us all.  Be sure to stop in and say Hi to the DT as well.

On to the details of my card:  We want to see your Birth Flowers

Who wouldn't hug her?

Happy Friday everyone!  I've found a new favorite medium everyone!  The Stazon Metallic Silver ink pad!  Love, Love,Love it!  Also, my friend Jill has also shown me how much I love the rounded edges and I wanted to try it.  Really like it, it's a finishing technique I'll be using a lot of!  Thanks Jill!

This Friday is a brand new challenge over at Wags'n Whiskers.  I've been waiting to color this little cutie for such a long time and when I found this weeks theme, I just knew she was perfect!

I want to make sure that I tell everyone that my pictures aren't going to be up to par for a while because there is a spot on the inside of my lense and although it is under warranty, I have to send it out and it will be two or three weeks till I get it back!  I'm using my old camera for now and the zoom and pixels are just not the same.

I digress, The Wags'n Whiskers challenge is for you to show us:

Black plus Pearl or Ribbon

One random participant will win a Free Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber Stamp of your choice.

You don't have to use a Wags 'n Whiskers stamp, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a Free Wags 'n Whiskers Digi(including the Pin Ups).

We would like to offer up a Guest Designer Spot each week!!
