September Release Sneak Peak Blog Hop!

Today the Whimsy DT are kicking off our September release by sharing

sneak peeks of some of the brand new Wee Stamps, Kenny K and Crissy 

Armstrong stamps that will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store TOMORROW!

For those of you who are new to Whimsy Stamps, we hold a 3-day new release event each month: a Sneak Peek Blog Hop on the day before the release (today), a Release Day Blog Hop on release day (tomorrow), and finally a Review Day Blog Hop the day after the release.

Each blog hop has a prize of 2 new release stamps hidden

somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw! To

As the Whimsy Guest Designer for the Wee blog this month, I got to play with the beautiful new image called Beau and Bashful!  Available at Whimsy Stamps in rubber on release day.  I thought I would love to see these two lovelies in realistic colors but they are just so cute that by the time I found a brown water color pencil I liked, the only way to shade and make it pop was with my auburn pencil.  So, I've gone with it as a delightful little cartoon like coloring and I fell in love!

This one is ALL about the stamp, the project was done on watercolor paper and I wanted it to be a CAS design with Beau and Bashful as the center piece.  I used the NEW Shapeology dies for the flowers and the New Holiday Mini Seals Sentiment as well!

Day 2 Whimsy Release and a sweet treat!

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of Whimsy Stamps January Rubber Stamp and Die Release Showcase!

On Wednesday (23 January) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs, Shape EZ templates and *new* Whimsy Prints pre-coloured toppers. From then until 29 January the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

Now that were through with all the business, let's get down to the crafting!  I've colored the Dreamy Dragon image from the glorious Wee collection at Whimsy Stamps!  This is one that my lovely lady friends at the monthly card class will appreciate as I was trying to get it colored up during our monthly meeting!  Hi ladies!  Here it is!  And I won't forget to get you one of these little lovelies either hun!

I have to say, I always smile when I pull this paper out to create with it because the mix of blues and golds just makes me want to smile!  The perfect color combination for this drouzy little dragon, don't you think?
