Special time with family

3 Magnolia stamps giveaway here

Hi friends,

So, I've had the opportunity to visit the family this past December and it included the new little great nephew Brian Blake Houghton III.  His mommy Erin and my neice and daughter were spending some quality time together and I was showing them some of my copics and what they can do.   Well I kept the work and after they chose the papers they wanted to match, I told them I would post their work on my blog.  Today is the first of a few projects that are a direct reflection of that time together crafting.  Hope you enjoy it.  Erin did a fabulous job.

As Girlie As It Gets!

Happy hump day! I love it when a new challenge comes in the middle of the week! Clears my weekends a little more for family and fun time! Speaking of fun, WOOHOO, Mothers Day was fabulous! Breakfast out with both of my kids and hubby, then to the movies for some hunk o' licious "THOR" then dinner out with no work or clean up. Just me and my tulips sitting around in the sun enjoying life!

Well it's challenge time again over at Diva's by Design. This challenge is "For the Girls" and our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments. Be sure to stop by and enter this challenge to win some great prizes and show me your fabulous creations. The image I used is by Sugar Nellie but the Sentiment is one of my favorite from Crafty Sentiment Designs.

I made a very simple looking card for its curves and the clean white + one look because it is a very feminine and girlie look, I know a little girl that would love to get this one from Aunt Tammy!

Nellie in Spring

This is my favorite Sugar Nellie so far, it is specifically for a particularly tricky sketch over at the Sugar Bowl Challenge.  It turned out to be tricky because the sketch really would look better for a horizontally stamped image (that I don't have) or a larger image to fill more of the card.  I did my best, and I hope you all find her as stunning and cute as I have, and the bunny she's holding looks really comfy . . . although jangly!
