Tuesday #1 in 2012 in the Towers

I made a Birth announcement today to show you with Teddy Bo for my Husbands black belt instructor and his wife for their first baby Coralyn!  Isn't that a beautiful name?

The tag from inside can have a foot print, hand print or picture!

Happy Tuesday in 2012 to all!  I'm home from Florida with my Mom and 15 other family members including the first of the 4th generation.  I experienced so many firsts in the last 2 weeks, I went into the ocean, I watched nights on horseback joust for the good of the kingdom at the Medieval Times restaurant (fabulous food), Christmas Light show at the zoo, boat tour with the dolphins and shell gathering on an island!  That's just a small touch of what we did but the best part was spending time with my Mom and Dad and my Nephew Blake and his family where the 4th generation came from.  I got to wake up every day and go to bed every night with that little angel and it was worth every second!  Thanks everyone for making this Holiday the best ever!

Well!  Babies have minds of their own you know! :) and let me remind you, it is 85 and humid so every day is a bad hair day!  It's the smiles that were important!

My first Star Tree Ornament

It's Friday!  Yeah!  Although this week has just flown by, I am still looking forward to the weekend because Saturday is the last craft sale of the year at the Victory Academy and then the family party (husbands side).  The twins are going to love their presents.  I found this adorable shirt that has a guitar you can play music with on the front and Kevin is going to be beside himself with joy!  Aunt Tammy is going to be the fav!

Diva and Mo for Anything Goes!

I guess every time I know I "HAVE" to create something specific, there is a little different feeling I get while making it. to how long it takes or how splendid it NEEDS to look.  Well, not today!  Today I got to play with an image I have had colored and matched up with DP for more than 6 months.  I've just been waiting to have the perfect opportunity to make something just for me, just for fun and today is the day!  The Diva's by Design challenge blog is having a challenge called:

"Anything Goes"

Perfect for the projects that are made just because you want to make them.  The colors aren't for the upcoming Holiday, the flowers are for the current season, and the card itself doesn't fit an exact purpose either but, I absolutely had the BEST time putting this one together!

Please join in on the challenge over at the Diva's by Design challenge and visit the other DT projects too as they are all very talented.  The challenge is sponsored by The Crafty Pad.

This is unfortunately going to be my last project as a DT for the Diva's by Design challenge and it is very dishearenting but an opportunity for me to dive into the Shape EZ product at the Whimsy Stamps Store and make it a product line no one can be without.  Thank you Rebekah and all of the DT at Diva's by Design, I will miss working with all of your talents and ability to inspire and I am looking forward to running in to all of you around this wonderful blog land!  This card includes one of my faborite embellishment dies the Elegant Butterfly and I double layered the Lacey Circles by cutting out one of the hoops and reassembled it to create a smaller inside layer.

Dragon Challenge and Stamp Fairy with Shape EZ

I hope all of my friends and family had a fabulous Holiday yesterday and that none of you were injured while enduring the horrible experience that is shopping today!  I never shop on Black Friday, If I need it badly enough, I will get it way before there are a thousand other people that want it.

Today at the Stamping with the Dragon Challenge we are sponsored by the Stamp Fairy and today we want you to create and play in our challenge with the theme:

Please don't forget to stop in at the Dragons Den and visit the other DT projects too as they are all made with this adorable Bear and Bobble image and there are some really beautiful inspiration there!  I've got an early Christmas gift that I used behind the image "Lacy Circles"  and I got to use my cut file that is one of the samples I cut and put together before the gift box was actually finalized and I wasn't happy with the border on the lid so I adjusted it to the one you can find in the Whimsy Stamps Store.  But, waste not want not, I knew it would come in handy!  I paper pierced with matching DP too.  Loved this project and it took all of 30 minutes!  Love projects that are quick and easy!

( of courst dark red and oranges are always my favorites).  The snowman is such a light colorless image it needed to be a full contrast.  These felt trees were perfect for the post it note holder.  I've finally made my first one, been waiting to do it forever!  The Sentiment matched perfectly, the little bulbs on the trees were a combination of dew drops and plastic snow flakes that I also created the pin with pearls added.  If you look really close, you can see the postage seal in the red DP too!  These were perfect little accents I found in my Stamp set Holiday mini postage stamps from Raindrop Echo Designs w/Whimsy.
