I'm a Sentimental Designer!

So. . . My neice graduates from High School and I want to be there for her!  The problem is, it's on the other side of the continent!  I fly in on Thursday and enjoy Phoenix with my daughter immensly!  Then my mom and brother fly in from Florida, rent the van, and we're on our way 4 hours vertically to the city of ShowLow.   I'm on a mountain in Arizona (thousands of ft above sea level) and I "accidentally" get text mail service from SS Design team inviting me to join the fabulous team of 16 members as well as their extraordinary Senior DT's and their leaders!  I'm overwhelmed and unable to send an acceptance message for 30 minutes!  AARRGG!

Just a few minutes later, all was well, I explained my perdiciment and felt very happy!  Finally, I will have the fabulous and hard to find sentiments for ALL of my greeting card needs.

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity Sentimental Sundays with all of the sentiments from  Raindrop Echo Designs Digital Collection available at Whimsy.  To my readers, please stop by and visit all of the other wonderful inspirational work from the other DT's.  :)

Some info:

The goal of these challenges is to focus on the beauty of words to compliment our projects. Here's a little info about the challenges that will be held here:

Challenges will be posted every Sunday along with a sentiment or word art freebie

Your work must be new, but you may combine it with as many other challenges as you like! It can be any type of handmade (or even digital creation): card, scrapbook pages, altered items, etc.
You must use a sentiment somewhere on your card. It can be from any company, digital or rubber, stamped or a sticker, or even created by you - anything

 HAVE FUN!

INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

Where there's a will . . . there's a way!  Even on a mountain!

Playing with the Fairies!

Good day to all my friends and family. . . It has been a little warm but a lot rainy here in Michigan this week.  Just as soon as my socks dry out, that grill is getting fired up!   I've been wanting grilled chicken for weeks, and I'm not the most patient person on the planet!
On to this Brand New really mystical and dainty image.  It was so much fun and as soon as I saw it, my gears started crankin!  It reminds me of that story where the elves come in at night and get all the work done for the shoe maker.  I think it was by the Brothers Grimm?  Anyway,  I need to get a sewing fairy, or two,  of my own for all those dresses my daughter wants me to fix the zipper on!  lol

My Whiskers are Wagging!

Wow!  This is a really big week for me!   My son was the cutest, loudest and "TALLEST"  Oompa Loompa on stage tonight, the show was fabulous and the children should be very proud of themselves.  My craft show is Saturday in Ypsilanti, Michigan at the Corner Brewery and I have made about 50 different projects including cards, journals, frames, book marks, boxes and more!  If you're close, come see me!

This is fully opened image
I've made my first sideways easel card, and my first swing card, not to mention receiving the invitation to inspire and challenge all of you on a fabulous Design Team . . .  "Wags 'n Whiskers"!   I love all of their images and even more that most of them are offered in digi as well as rubber!  So much versatility, they make every card just right!

This week's challenge hosted by Tracy is:
Use a die or Punch
The prize is a free Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber Stamp.

However, if you use a Wags 'n Whiskers image on your card, you will be entered into a separate drawing for a free WnW Digital Stamp!! Two chances to win!

So come and join us at Wags 'n Whiskers to show us all of your fabulous projects, I can't wait to see them!  I also simply couldn't wait for the next challenge to begin, so I created this whimsy little fairy card with loads of bright spring colors and tons of glitter, gems and flowers. (Well, you know me!)  Isn't she darling, her name is Hannah and she's plump and prim with her little grin.  She lives in a world of flowers and butterflies!  She won't last long at the craft show I'm sure!
