Cards for Jessica, Jillianne and Wyatt
It was brought to my attention that there is a wonderful organization that sends cards to children who are in hospitals, Card Cupids. Can you help out??
HERE is the blog post that explains more about it!
Thanks!!!
So if you've followed my posts for a while, you know I have a 4 year old twin niece and nephew that are Aunt Tammy's little loaners! I'm not a grandma yet but they fill that spot right up almost every weekend to give mommy and daddy that much needed break. Anyway, they are going to school! Yikes! Kindergarten already!
I wanted to make each of them a surprise for their first day away from mommy and this is for him, my little Kevin bug! It reminds me of my sons first backpack except it had comic book squares all over it! The backpack is altered from a purse template and the notepad is my own creation using cardboard from a card collection kit. They both love to take your pizza orders so I thought it would be perfect to meet some new friends with at school! (other than sissy) hehe!
This is my first try at rolled flowers ( no pattern, just cut and rolled), I added cosmic shimmer watercolor paint to the image for the dragon scales to shine, glimmer misting a project as well as using the velcro fastener. My favorite dragon Jiggy, available at Stamping Dragon Designs, is headed back to school on the backpack for my little Kevin! Hope he enjoys it as much as I did making it.
Don't forget to hop over to Stamping with the Dragon Challenge Blog for inspiration and a challenge, our current sponsor is Dragon Designs , they have great new grab bags, papers and adorable new images as well! So stop in, I would love to see your latest projects following the sketch below.
