I know June 19th is Fathers Day this year, but because a challenge forced me to wait two extra weeks to post my parents Anniversary card, I thought I would surprise him early for this holiday! It's a good day to have a new challenge with Sentimental Sundays sponsored by Meljens Designs and a free digi sentiment from Karen. They want to see all your father's day creations with an image + sentiment.
I wanted to do this especially for Daddy because he LOVES his tea! He never hunted, fished, watched races, golfed, watched or followed sports of any kind or any of the other average stuff a dad does. He was an extremely hard working Die Sinker that put in 14 hour days, but always found a way to be home for church and ice cream on Sundays. Taught me everything I know about cars, history and being proud to be me. His hugs were always a necessity just before bed time, Thanks DADDY! Love You!
On to this really fun project, I learned how to make a tea bag holding card through my new team mate Heike, thanks! Great job on the tutorial. All I had to do after assembly was decorate it and fill'r up! I did that with a really "Over the Top" cute Meljen digi image and Sentiment exclusively at Whimsy and 4 flavors of tea I'm sure he'll love. Also I wanted it to have a child like "colored with crayons" look so it resembled something given by a child with honest to goodness effort involved

INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
My Dad, even working all day and half the night, made the time to influence what type of adult I became! All the good ones do!
