My first "Little Darling" Guest Designer Project!

I can't tell you all how thrilled and honored I was to find out I was chosen as the Guest Designer for August on the Little Darling Challenge blog.  I went right to the computer and started looking for some inspiration to fit the challenge and just the right image from the "Back to School" collection at the Love to Stamp Store where you can get the latest paper, classic ribbon, flower/border dies and much, much more for very affordable prices!  Not to mention the cutie I used in this card that made the entire card come together!  I hope you all enjoy and are inspired to remember your School days with this.

Little Darling Challenge 5

The challenge this time is "Back to School".

Here's some of the things you need to know about this fun and rewarding challenge:

I made the form of a chalk board with plywood for a background, added some film strip to help remember all those years of pictures, the medal to show the excellence we can accomplish and well . . . the apple is for the teacher, the picket fences that were hopped to B E with all of our friends learning our ABC's and 1  2  3's.  Everything was aged and made to look rustic for the trip back in time, the closeups below!  Also, I embossed the green on the planet to give depth and texture to the earth.
