Yep, I'm the Teddy newbie! As Wordy Wednesday mentioned, I'm the sane new toily cleaner, I think I've been tossed to the dungeon with some other non Potatoe Vodka drinkers! The Teddy Bo Challenge this time is to;
create a CAS project, which is, for the really new crafter, Clean and Simple.
Just F.Y.I. I really struggle with not adding flowers, ribbon, eyelets, brads, etc etc. I just couldn't even take this pic until I added the altered pearl in the corner! Really! I put this down 3 times in my pile of "not done yet" projects.
day (1) needed texture, so I distressed the edges
day (2) needed a feminine touch, added stickles to the veil and outer edges
day (3) needed symmetry, added the pearl
Anyone that's read my blog for a while knows that my OCD prohibits me from being done till it's got nothing more to add! hence, the problem with CAS projects! lol
We had a wedding over at the towers this month too, Congrats! |
Aren't they just lovely in this pre-printed sepia color, just added some Copic R20 blush |
Just when you thought I was done showing you my struggle with CAS, Nope, I have another one:
I really lost the CAS idea here, punches and ribbon! the shame of it all! |
Makes me wanna dance too! |
I used Teddy Bea 96 "sitting ballerina" , Cuttlebug "Textile" embossing folder, Bazzill stock, Martha Stewart Daisy punch, Ranger distress ink and Copics, Sentiment is Raindrop Echo Design w/Whimsy
INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Well, do your best with CAS, but definently try one of the Teddy images, you'll love anything you create if you start off with them! Promise!
Thank you for visiting,
Two beautiful projects Tammy Louise!
ReplyDeleteIt is a pleasure to have you on the team :)
CAS is not that easy, so I totally recognize the feeling of "not finished" but in the same time it is quite effective to!
CAS or embellished like you love, your work is always lovely and a pleasure to see
Have a nice day sweetie
Hugs, Jill
