The Best Day Ever

It's Tammy Louise here today to show you how to dry emboss with you die cuts!  There's a NEW You tube tutorial to show you how to create your own beautiful embossing with any of the LDRS Creative dies!
I used the Darling Squares die set and cut into some magnetic sheet.  I use magnetic sheet because it's just thick enough to make a great impression but not so thick that the dies won't cut through.
After cutting the magnetic sheet flowers and vines, I embossed with the cuttlebug with the same plates I would if there was an embossing folder and the impressions were fantastic!
I simply cut small rectangles from the embossed paper, adhered them to some black stock and applied them to my vellum base card that was 7" x 5".  Leaving just a small section of see through area for added design to this elegant but CAS card.  The sentiment is from the "Wishing You" collection and the die cuts were from some black design vellum for added color.
INGREDIENTS:
decorated vellum

MEDIUMS:
Memento Black

EMBELLISHMENTS
Recollections brad

INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Hug your haters and kill them with your kindness

  1. Lots of really cute projects. I used to rubber stamp, emboss, etc. Hadn't used so much of supplies so put them away. Been seeing more rubber stamping, embossing again. Maybe should get supplies out again but need to get room cleared out first, can barely walk in it, very small room, too much stuff.
I used to buy several of British paper craft zines but got too expensive for me. Harder to find now except for Papercraft zine you show on side bar. JoAnns still has it but as I said just too expensive for me now. Used to buy several of zines at Barnes and Noble in Bowling Green, KY when we lived in area. Moved away in August/2004. Now we live few miles west of Grand Junction, CO out in rural area.
    Have great weekend
