Two projects for Whimsy Showcase Day 7!

Hello Whimsy fans!  It's the last and final Day 7 of our September Rubber & Die Release Showcase!

Wednesday, September 19, Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs and Shape EZ templates. Today I'm sharing two different projects with all of you. Lately I'm all about the beautiful Halloween Grunge paper by Michelle Roos and the fall season projects.   I can't seem to get into Christmas crafting yet so instead of trying to slugishly push through I'm sticking with autumn crafting!  Give me the reds,oranges and pumpkin loving crafts.

I punched some flowers, applied some gems, cut some circles around skulls in the lush paper and framed it with the scalloped circles from Nestabilities Die.

The first project set this paper is so versatile and can make small simple project or complete card projects too like below!

The base paper made into a wrap with adorable ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon  Jute Black to case it closed. The back of the tag is stamped with a holiday stamp set from Raindrop Echo Designs on Michelle Roos Halloween Grunge paper

I've created faux stitching, I've traced the embossed face with .05 pen, cut a corner punch apart of the Martha Stewart web punch, added the distress stain to the Alpha molds then some gold dauber and done!

The New Pumpkin Trio Shapeology Die 

My project today was created with the harvest colors of the "Halloween Grunge" papers my Michelle Roos, Raindrop Echo Designs sentiment, Shapeology Dies from the "Pumpkin Trio set" and Shape EZ's NEW "Pumpy Kin" template.  I wanted to create a little treat for my daughter and she loves candles!  I found the container with the cute little scarecrow at JoAnn's, filled a bag with wax beads.  Then I created a pocket and topped it with the pumpkin trio die some gorgeous Whimsy ribbon and the NEW Shapeology Die and Sentiment from the holiday Raindrop Echo collection.  Punching out some flowers from the adorable coordinating papers and started on the card.

The Pumpy Kin card template opens horizontally from the right to the left with an adorable little DP insert that has slits so that some cute little tags can be tucked into them and ribbons through them too!  The inside has some distress stained gauze that I've played with my new Gold metallic twinkling H20 inker on.  Too fun!  I hope you enjoy the thought of it all and don't forget to join in on my RELEASE CANDY below!  Good luck!
