Really Reasonable Ombre Organza bows

My Wee stamp candy link here throughout the month of September

Monday already?  I suppose that's as good a time as any to share another way to incorporate your Really Reasonable Ribbons into your card in such a way that really makes it POP!

I've used a Whimsy Print from the Elizabeth Bell collection so there was NO coloring involved!  Makes things go so much faster!

Then I've designed one of my favorite style of card, the 1/2 split card.  Just one 5 x 5 piece of stock scored in half!  I've used the beautiful Sheer Ombre Peach/Yellow colored organza 5/8 inch wide ribbon and made several little bows around the frame!  They resemble butterflies I think?

The hole piercing tool gave texture all the way around the edge and some lovely gems bring in the bling!  The inside of the card was embellished with a Cherry Cake tag and it was also wrapped in matching ribbon.

Some times the most simple card can become the most inciting to try huh?

For this and other great inspiration on how to use your Really Reasonable Ribbons in a different way, stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings blog today!    If you've made something for the Back To School season, don't forget to enter it to win in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge, there are still 4 more days left to play!

Always and Forever with Ribbons!

Hello ribbon lovers!  I've got a simple and lovely gift idea to share today!  I guess I've been in the mind set of crafting things that other people would buy to give as gifts lately.  I've been working very hard to create items other than cards for CHA!  It's coming so quickly . . . Just 2 days and I'm off to Vegas!   I hear it's hot so I'd better find my swim suite! tehe

For today's project . . .  years ago I purchased about 20 paper/cardboard frames from Hobby Lobby, on sale of course (wink), and decided that they could easily be made into lovely gifts with the right theme and objects.  What better than loads of 3/8" Butterfly Multi Grosgrain and  those Moss Green Jumbo Maya leaves ribbons you can find at my favorite ribbon store Really Reasonable Ribbons.  Not to mention the adorable pre-colored Whimsy print and one of the Leaf Trio Shapeology die cuts!

The frame is covered with some of my scrap paper, and glued onto the back of the frame.  The love birds are part of the Sweet Valentine Whimsy Prints (pre colored) collection.  The Recollections pearl is altered with my Copics to offset the color of the birds, and the Really Reasonable Ribbons used here bring the frame to life!  I was so glad I decided to extend the large green leaf ribbon across the bottom, adding texture, elegance and that finished look to the whole theme.  A bit of Tule behind the birds for that cozy nest look and Voila'! Done!

For some challenge fun, the Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge right now is "Sizzlin Summer Colors and Ribbon" and there's plenty of time so come over and play along!  Till then, ta ta for now!  Thanks for joining me and I hope you're inspired to alter some of those great finds!

Candy Winner + Whimsy Prints

November Whimsy Release Candy Winner at the end of this post!

Whimsy Stamps introduced a product in October to supply you lovely paper craft lovers with a simple way to produce projects in a pinch!  You can make anything with these pre cut pre colored prints.  shape them into your favorite Spellbinder die shapes, fussy cut them, top them onto a card, book markers, candles, decorate bags, the list goes on and on!  The best thing is, they are already beautiful pieces of artwork in them selves so no matter what you choose to put them with, they can only add the the beauty.

The Design team has been busy creating with them as well in our free mini Whimsy Prints magazine you can find here.

One of the largest craft sales of my season was coming up and I knew I needed some great gift ideas for the Holiday season so I got out the dollar store candles I purchased ages ago and designed some lovely little projects including today's.  I hope you enjoy them and give them a try yourself.  They're quick and easy and make a perfect gift for anyone!

Win Prints, hop with Whimsy and Mini Magazine

Hi everyone and welcome to the Whimsy Prints BLOG HOP!

In October, Whimsy Stamps announced the release of a BRAND NEW Whimsy Stamps product line - the Whimsy Prints Collection.

Today, you can see loads of inspiration from Whimsy in a

The Whimsy Prints Collection are beautiful sets of hand-colored images which have been digitally reproduced and die-cut into various shapes. Whimsy Prints are printed on 100lb premium coated paper and professionally die-cut leaving smooth edges. Each pack contains 12 die-cut prints (3 sets of 4 images).

The Crissy Armstrong prints are lovingly hand-colored by Crissy Armstrong herself:

The Elisabeth Bell prints have been hand-colored by our talented Senior Designer Simonne Clay:

Whimsy Prints Collection are very straight forward and easy to use. They can be attached directly to your project with glue or double sided tape. Use them as is or cut to fit the needs of your project. One of the benefits of using Whimsy Prints is to cut back on the amount of time needed to hand color images. To summarize, it is a great way to make quick projects when time is of the essence! These are also wonderful for beginner crafters and kid projects.

If you joined us for our last 2 releases, you may have seen some of the beautiful projects our DT and Special Guests have created using these prints. Today we are showcasing these gorgeous Whimsy Prints with a special BLOG HOP! In addition to our regular Special Guests, we are delighted to welcome both Crissy Armstrong and Elisabeth Bell who are joining us for this hop!
