Delight In The Little Things

Good morning crafty peeps!  There has been so much going on here in the Cunliffe household that my crafty days have been limited.  Today's project was a long time coming because Laila is one of my favorite new Dollhouse stamps at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps!  Her eyes are dreamy, that super cute short bob of hair around the face and the garden of foliage all around her is simply magnificent!  

Also, there is a new quarter release coming soon for Little Darlings Custom Dies too, so things have been super busy but busy is good right?  The custom dies are high quality steel with all the curves and swirls just the way you like them.  Keep your eyes out for them, I designed them to be perfectly comfortable accents to any of your projects!  

I wanted to say thank you to all of my friends that have sent prayers for the health of my dad, we all will know more today and I'll be sure to share and update all of you!

Good Crafty Day to you friends!  Today I'm sharing one of my favorite images from the *NEW* "From The Hollow" illustration collections!  Her name is Lucinda Joy!  She is a spunky and full of style little fairy.  She's obviously jumping for joy but with bright sunshiny colored wings and that flowing but spiky red hair, sh is sharing her joy with all of us!

I tried to create a little scene where there are loads of viny materials, leaves, ruffles and of course some terrific sparkle for her to play in.  I used a terrific sentiment from the Enchanted Wishes Vintage Affections collection which matched perfectly!  Hope you get a chance to color one of the NEW From The Hollow images soon and create your little scene!  Have fun!

Presents All Around!

Happy Thursday everyone!  It's Tammy Louise sharing a special little project I've made with a perfectly sized canvas and easel set I found in Hobby Lobby.   I wanted to make a gift that would set on either a little shelf or right next to a jewelry box on a little girls dresser!  

I like this second colored easel with the Derwent Inktense pencils better than the Shop Till You Drop easel I colored with Ranger Distress because the colors pop a bit more but the soft look of the Distress Ink is beautiful as well.  I guess it's all what each artist prefers!  

The Candi Bean images have fabulous flowing hair to color, but those adorable faces with a great amount of room for the cheeks is my favorite part!  This image has an adorable little friend sharing his package with Penny and he is simply adorable as well. 

I used some white ink to offset the hair piece and some glitter to bring a sparkle to the project too!  Great fun to color!  I sealed it with Krylon workable Fixitive and placed the canvas on the easel!  Easy Peasy!  I hope you get inspired to work with canvas as these images work perfectly with it!

Finally I get to share my NEWS and A Lisbeth Song!

Has it really been almost 20 days since my last post?  Goodness time flies when you're having fun in Floriday then off to the CHA in January then back to Michigan and down with the flu for almost 2 weeks! lol  I'm better now though and SO excited to share some news!

A Little Song for you today! Posting my very first project for the Little Darlings Rubber Stamps DT!  I've been bursting at the seems to share this wonderful news with all of you!  I get to create with some of the most talented designers in the business!  It was such a pleasure to meet so many of them in January at CHA!  Hiya Sharon, Sheri, Mindy, Jenny and of course the lovely
Angie!  So much fun to be had :) 

   

I've colored Lisbeth & Bird today!  It's one of the three adorable NEW Milk Coffee designs just released that can be pre-ordered now in the Little Darling Rubber Stamps Store! 

A bit MORE news too!  My very first die designs have been release with Little Darlings!  January at CHA, YIKES!  So, I've decided to create with some of them you can preorder now!  Including the Fluttered Tulip Bodice, Lovely View, and some of the little coordinated pieces of the Darling Square Die Set!  I think I could have used dozens of those little flowers that come in the set and simply placed them everywhere!  They are the perfect accent!
