My crafting resolutions:
1. To create more than 50% of my projects with either recycled materials or scrap left over materials to cut waste and excessive earth fillers. Currently at about 45%)
2. Teach paper craft classes.
3. Create Dies for Spellbinders(done)
4. Learn everyday what it takes to be patient, understanding, tolerant and giving.

Silhouette Simply!

My favorite day of the week again!  Tuesday is the one that isn't right after the weekend but far enough from Friday for me to stay energized and able to get seriously done with some projects!  At Top Tip Tuesday, this is a "Tipper Week"  where you leave a tip and win a prize!  Gotta love sharing and getting something in return!hehe  Anyway we have the following challenge:

COLOUR CHALLENGE
Blue, green and brown
Tipper Week

SPONSORS:

Photobucket
Simon Says Stamp is offering a $20 gift voucher to spend in their store!!

I wanted to make a simple flowerless project that was inspired by the great artist Mindy.  She did such a fabulous job with "Only Paper"  not flowers or Ribbon ~ you should stop by and see what she made, It's beautiful!   I get to meet and pick up some great tips from Mindy in my card class with Angie this coming Saturday!  I'm so excited, I can hardly wait!

I also wanted to incorporate it into a sketch from the "NEW" Tickeled Pink Sketch Challenge to enter for the first time with!  So here are the details, I hope you enjoy it!

My Tips this week:  When cutting out an image ~ Trace it with felt tip marker to smooth out the rough "white" edges.
An embossing tool will curl paper perfectly!

  1. Hi Tammy!
This is gorgeous! I love the colors and how you curved the butterfly leaves. There's so much dimension on this card. It's amazing how much dimension you can get without actual embellishments. I cannot wait till Saturday! We will have to take lots of pictures!

    Hugs, Mindy
