On Your Special Day!

It's Tuesday here in Michigan and it's warming up to be a very pleasant spring!  As a matter of fact, we've taken the plastic off the windows and opened the screens a few time!  Un heard of around here! teehee
I'm flying out to Florida tonight for my daughter first of two bridal showers.  Her fiance's family is from Florida so they are having one down there for them and the other here in Michigan later in the summer for us Northerners! lol
This image is so full of life and spirit, I thought she would be perfect for the shower card for my daughter!  Her name is Jessie's Summer Garden and she is one of my favorites from the Candi Bean line from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps!

Simple but elegant card today, I've used a bright and cheerful Washi tape from Recollections and cut out the Darling View die as well as stamping on some again for her cute little summer dress!  Also, I put some of the Washi tape down and cut some of the individual flowers to layer together and add some dimension to the card!   I found a set of Fine Art Pastel pencils by Cretacolor at a hobby shop that was closing down last summer and today I decided to see how they would work!  With a stumping pencil and two tones for each object, they worked out beautifully!  I may have to switch my choice of mediums for a while!  lol

It's your special day!

I'ts always a special day at the Noor U.S. blog!  Tammy Louise sharing a Copic colored project made with a beautiful Noor stamp called Silhouette Poppy.  I'm a vibrant and deep pigment artist so the more color the better!  Just look at how beautiful these little corner dies make the image rectangles pop and the gorgeous border die of flowers that cut and emboss that I colored with white pigment ink to make the design pop.
As well as the beautiful stamp, I've discovered a great deal of versatile dies that would add dimension and beauty to any project!  The flourish, those lovely little corners which are part of a bigger die set and the roses!  rows and rows of roses!

Cute-A-Saurus For Sure!

Halloween is coming really soon and the last time I made a wobbler candy holder, It was with a cute little dragon boy image.  Now my children are older and of course don't trick or treat any more but I have 7 year old twin boy and girl neice and nephew in the family and I gave them their candy pack with the dragon boy on it yesterday and she says " Aunt Tammy" I'm a girl!

Well, I just had to make another candy box with a Halloween girl image and what better image to use than this ADORABLE long haired image called CUTE - A - SAURUS MiRan image!!

She is just too cute with her little nails painted pink and she's kicking up a cute little candy begging storm too!   I made her approximately 4" tall, cut down the wobbler because she's a bit thinner that the other image used and added a button and pearl that makes the project a bit more feminine than the other!  I hope this inspires you to make a Halloween candy holder for your self?

Believe and Succeed!

Happy Tuesday friends!  I hope you all are enjoying your summer vacations?  I know I for one have traveled south for a month or so with my teenager to visit with mom and dad and all though it's very hot here, I am enjoying the time away from the ordinary and visiting places like the Springs where the water is so clear you can see all the way to the bottom.   In Dade city, we ate at a wonderful Greek restaurant after a boat ride to see the Dolphins!  It's the little things in life!!

The project I'm sharing with you today is one of those wide eyed lovelies that is on her way back to school!  Our theme this month at the ARTBYMIRAN group is Back to School.  This blue eyed smarty pants is sharing her love of school with heart shaped balloons bursting out of her backpack.  I'm sure it's to make room for all the books and pencils she'll need soon!

She's ready to Believe and Succeed!
