My first Star Tree Ornament

It's Friday!  Yeah!  Although this week has just flown by, I am still looking forward to the weekend because Saturday is the last craft sale of the year at the Victory Academy and then the family party (husbands side).  The twins are going to love their presents.  I found this adorable shirt that has a guitar you can play music with on the front and Kevin is going to be beside himself with joy!  Aunt Tammy is going to be the fav!

I digress away from my intention, so I want to say, come by the Stamping with the Dragon challenge and check out the Design Teams beautiful creations with some terrific images from Meljen.  Stay to the bottom of this post so you catch even more important information.

Dragon Challenge and Stamp Fairy with Shape EZ

I hope all of my friends and family had a fabulous Holiday yesterday and that none of you were injured while enduring the horrible experience that is shopping today!  I never shop on Black Friday, If I need it badly enough, I will get it way before there are a thousand other people that want it.

Today at the Stamping with the Dragon Challenge we are sponsored by the Stamp Fairy and today we want you to create and play in our challenge with the theme:

Please don't forget to stop in at the Dragons Den and visit the other DT projects too as they are all made with this adorable Bear and Bobble image and there are some really beautiful inspiration there!  I've got an early Christmas gift that I used behind the image "Lacy Circles"  and I got to use my cut file that is one of the samples I cut and put together before the gift box was actually finalized and I wasn't happy with the border on the lid so I adjusted it to the one you can find in the Whimsy Stamps Store.  But, waste not want not, I knew it would come in handy!  I paper pierced with matching DP too.  Loved this project and it took all of 30 minutes!  Love projects that are quick and easy!

Picture album in 3D!

Welcome to this weeks Friday!  I spent last night with the soon to be 20 year old.  She was in the moos to craft, so we went to Michaels and we bought ourselves some Polymer clay to play with.  She made a shoe, heart  and a guitar that "stinks" (according to her)

I guess there is always next time!  hehe  Anyway, it was great fun and I don't get to spend as much time with her as I'd like!  Her birthday is coming shortly and I want to make a Wicked scrapbook project I found at Archivers.  It's her favorite musical and we sent her and her boyfriend to see it when she was in High School and it's been her favorite ever since.  So keep an eye out for it soon!

Before I get into the new challenge at Stamping with the Dragon.  I just wanted to let you all know that we have added some tabs under our header to make things easier for everyone to find what they are looking for including a tab to see if you were a winner of our past Challenge.

We also want to say Thank you to each and everyone of you who submitted an application to be on our Design Team.  We will be in touch soon.

This up coming challenge is being Sponsored by Stamping Dragon Designs

Janette was a busy beaver the past few weeks creating our new lines 3D/Decoupage.  These fine creatures have been colored for you. All you need to do is cut and put them together and add a few of your magic touches.  So, that brings us to our next challenge.  SHOW US YOUR 3D OR DECOUPAGE PROJECTS!!!  It doesn't have to be a card but, it must either have a 3D effect or Decoupaged.  The winner of this challenge will win 4 images of their choice from our Store Stamping Dragon Designs.

Check out the Design Team creations too!  We all had a blast creating their projects for you!.

A Dragons' Gift

It's Friday!  Woo Hoo!  I have another class tomorrow with Angie Hunt and Sunday I hope to go to the Apple Orchard with the twins!  I hope it stops raining long enough to enjoy some cider and donuts on a horse cart ride through the orchard.  It's sort of a tradition, since both my children are October babies, we go to the orchard/petting zoo and enjoy the changing trees and family time.

I have a card to share with you today with Jiggy and some of the Dragon Designs digi paper too!  I adore him!  It doesn't seem to matter if he's on a beach, covered in fairies or camping with his pop, the color theme and design always comes together so well when it's with Jiggy from Dragon Designs!  This one is no different.  The card was made to have the appearance of a Christmas gift box just waiting for the grand opening ceremony on Christmas morning!  I paper pierced the presents, made the ornament shiny with dimensional liquid, the wings are angel like with flower soft, I used photo corners to frame the picture like a gift tab and sewed all 4 layers of DP's.  I simply adore this "Gift" card!  hehe

Bugaboo in Grade School!

There's a challenge today at Stamping with the Dragon and the sponsor is Bugaboo!  Boy, when you're looking for that "OOH! HOW CUTE" factor, look at either Bugaboo or Dragon!  Cuddly and fantasy figures make the perfect greeting cards for our little ones birthdays or any other special occasion!

I would love to say Thank you to any and all of my followers that participated and sending cards into Send A Smile For Kids.  I know my friend Karen will get them to those that will truly appreciate them in so many ways.  Thank you So Much!

Our challenge this time is for you to HONOR ANY OCCUPATION!  It doesn't have to be a police officer, fire fighter, or Emergency Services, it could be your local dog catcher, house keeper or even your local garbage man.   There are so many to choose from so, lets see them.  You could have a chance to win 7 images from Bugaboo Stamps.

There are 2 Special Design Team Members from Bugaboo that used images from our store Stamping Dragon Designs to join us, won't you come and join us and visit the DT blogs as well and leave them a big hug!

I simply love finding new things to add to my cards and this clear holographic sticker sheet is such an awesome idea to add the "cool" factor!  I emboss rolled the inside of the leaves and added great texture too~ The image was perfect to add to this project and the Sentiment brings the cause for mom to buy it!  Could you imagine adding this to a scrapbook page for his or her first day of school!  The flowers in the pot are buttons that have wire stems that could be added to any book bag,  and the new Whimsy made Raindrop Echo Design Bottle cap die cut and sentiment is perfect for this card.
