Diva and Mo for Anything Goes!

I guess every time I know I "HAVE" to create something specific, there is a little different feeling I get while making it. to how long it takes or how splendid it NEEDS to look.  Well, not today!  Today I got to play with an image I have had colored and matched up with DP for more than 6 months.  I've just been waiting to have the perfect opportunity to make something just for me, just for fun and today is the day!  The Diva's by Design challenge blog is having a challenge called:

"Anything Goes"

Perfect for the projects that are made just because you want to make them.  The colors aren't for the upcoming Holiday, the flowers are for the current season, and the card itself doesn't fit an exact purpose either but, I absolutely had the BEST time putting this one together!

Please join in on the challenge over at the Diva's by Design challenge and visit the other DT projects too as they are all very talented.  The challenge is sponsored by The Crafty Pad.

This is unfortunately going to be my last project as a DT for the Diva's by Design challenge and it is very dishearenting but an opportunity for me to dive into the Shape EZ product at the Whimsy Stamps Store and make it a product line no one can be without.  Thank you Rebekah and all of the DT at Diva's by Design, I will miss working with all of your talents and ability to inspire and I am looking forward to running in to all of you around this wonderful blog land!  This card includes one of my faborite embellishment dies the Elegant Butterfly and I double layered the Lacey Circles by cutting out one of the hoops and reassembled it to create a smaller inside layer.

I learned this folded card from the Scrap Girl Angie in her monthly card class

Dream while you Read!

Welcome to my spot this chilly blistery day in September!  My boy started High School yesterday and he survived!  The best thing is he gets 70 minutes of study hall as a class!  So, "maybe" less homework!  I can only hope!  Well enough about me, on to the real goodies.

There is a challenge starting today at the Divas by Design Challenge Blog!  We want you to create a project of your choice with the

"Back to School"  theme

We are sponsored by CraftySentiment

If you ask me, she's looking out to find her way around the world and her first prospective location is PARis!  But first, she's going to read up on it and maybe learn some French in school with the bookie mark! hehe!

So, the funnest part of this card is the stretch choker with the magnetic bottle cap!  Yep, you heard me, interchangeable bottle cap that magnetically attaches to the choker whenever you want to change it up!  It was actually a request by a craft sale patron and I couldn't wait to get them started, should be a huge success at the school cafeteria on September 17th.

This has been a great week so far, so thanks for joining me, don't forget to hop over to Divas by Design for both the new challenge and inspiration from a very talented DT! You have a whole week to enter so join us for the fun!  On to my little creation:

The Super talented DT have great projects to share as well,  Wow!

So a few details:  I die cut the flowers from 4 matching DP, curled them with the embossing tool and dotted the inside w/liquid pearl, cut out the deco images assembeled them in order but embossed the top to be rounded.  Colored over the  printed ink to add some richer brown hue and assembeled the card!  Super simple to complete and fun!  I think it's more like therapy for me to have intricut cutting to do! lol

Purple Petalicious!

I just love every opportunity to say Hi to all my friends and family!  This is my third hello this week as a matter of fact!  My moms Birthday was yesterday and I only got to call her being that she is in Florida and all.  I really miss going out with her for her birthday.  She spent her birthday with Dad and my brother Brian's family this year and reports that the cake was good and so was the class ornament flower they gave her!  The really good news is that she got her card and loved it.  Thank goodness!  I thought for a while there that it was lost in the mail!

Before I get onto my card today, I wanted to let you know that another challenge is starting today at Diva's by Design.  Our last challenge was a HUGE success with hundreds of projects, and I hope this one is the same!  Come by and join us for a challenge of "Pastels"  sponsored by Crafty Emma.  Please stop by for both inspiration from our lovely and talented DT team and a challenge, I can't wait to see your projects!

This was out of my normal because I'm a bright orange and red kind of girl.  Super light colors are very rare under my glue runner.  I added the flower soft in her basket, hair and the petals she is leaving for the Bride to feel beneath her feet on her way to meet the groom.

Also, I found the cutest little silver wine glasses as an embellishment from the dollar store . . . can you believe that!  Twenty four $1.00 . . not a bad find! huh?

Because this is for a wedding, I added a ton of lace, those beautiful dried Angel wing flower petals and tons of pearls instead of entire flowers so the flower girl held all the cards!
