Whew!  Now that all the business is out of the way, I want to share the ingredients of this Marie Antoinette want to be!   My reaction to the flourish stickers in the store just made me crave to color up this image with slick black hair and that Victorian Pink with rich Ivory tones.  I added a little touch with the Applique (which makes the micro beads stickier than I like) and love that the little ornament shaped sentiments weren't over powering the image or the delicate look of the over all ornament.  I simply LOVE these Sentiments!  May be using them in ALL of my projects till Christmas lol!

Free to be married 25 years!

Happy "belated" Independence Day to all my friends and family!   Both of my karate guys were in the parade yesterday and as I was watching the four year old twins today, I was unable to join them.  However, as you know, it's not so interesting if you aren't participating!    Today is a little shorter post but I do want to share something near and dear to my heart at the end of the post . . . so please keep reading!

 INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
I've been blessed with a lovely daughter that dated a courageous young man named Chris Oaks in High School.

Since graduating in 2009, Chris joined our armed forces in Afghanistan, and returned to us 2 days ago, in what looks to be a permanently paralyzed condition at the age of 20!

The "return home" event was covered by Channel 7 Action news, and the address location for donations to support the modifications to his families home and the video can be found HERE.

I know that this news is not new as it happens all too often, however, never so close to me.  As much as we would appreciate any and all donations, I mainly wanted to show my support and gratitude to such a wonderful and truly beautiful young man that I am blessed to know personally.  These are the men that keep us safe and free!

Thank you Chris and Welcome Home!

Great weekend to everyone!  I hope you all are well!  I know my week is going to be wonderful as my mom and Dad get into town from Florida for my Nephew Connors graduation party!  I can't wait to spend some time with her at the salon!  Mani and Pedi's are desperately needed! hehe

However, this post is all about the  "Summer time or shimmer " challenge that starts today at Sentimental Sundays + 1 with a super fun hop!

We hope you will join in our “Summery or Sparkly” (plus a sentiment) challenge this week. Our sponsor is the marvelous Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs. This prize will be four INDIVIDUAL sentiment sets from the Raindrop Echo Designs with Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection

Craft this

~ Hello again, I wanted to share some photos of the projects I sold today in the craft show. I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed creating them.

The pocket photo albums: All of these were sold, Sorry Ladies! So easy to make and very inexpensive, Tilda can help you sell any product!

Love the Pirate

                             gotta get me a peach!

The Design Paper picture frames are made of paper mache, found them at Hobby Lobby, also very inexpensive but a little more tricky as far as making sure the slot for a photo is open and neatly glued:

So Romantic :)

My next craft sale was booked today for March 5th, then another one on May 7, being Mothers Day, I can't wait to create something that will make all the Moms out there feel loved and appreciated :)

INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

If you make it, they will come!
Thanks for looking!

Valentine's frame

Hello . . here I am sharing again!  So this picture is a little better than the last, give me a week, I'll fix it eventually hehe!  Anyway, for Valentines day and the craft sale coming up, I wanted to show off this cutie in red!

I have a craft show coming up in February and I'm so excited to create a few new items with the Magnolia collection.  This frame is my first and I can't wait to try this item in several different colors, and then I want to make my first diary cover as well.  Maybe next week!  Would you buy one of these? :) ( of course you would, you love her too, afterall)
